funds. This workshop identifies the challenges to raising this money
but offers suggestions to break down barriers keeping us from being
successful. This unique workshop offers approaches for building the
case for generating funds internally to support the volunteer program
and the case for outside funders to consider granting funds to support
volunteer engagement. Betty shares the mindset needed to be successful
in fundraising, the need for a close partnership with the development
staff of the organization, education of funders regarding the value of
support to volunteer engagement, and suggestions for specific methods
to generate resources.
