This fast-paced workshop is for executive directors
of nonprofit organizations interested in challenging boards to go from
interest to ACTION! Topics include: the role of the executive director
in creating the "dream board"; understanding board powers,
responsibilities and liabilities; recruiting, training and supporting
the board; board involvement in fundraising; dynamics of board/staff
relationships and tips on board meetings/retreats.
Getting Your Board "On-Board"
A training program for members of a board of
directors which can include the following topics: the role of the board;
recruiting board members; hiring and supervising an executive director;
financial responsibility; strategic planning and budgeting; financial
oversight; fundraising; policy development and other pertinent topics
relevant to the responsibilities of a board of directors.
Leading People and
Organizations Through Change
Organizations are becoming more adept at planning, but have not simultaneously learned to orchestrate and lead their organizations and people through the inevitable changes that must take place. This workshop gives leaders the tools to understand the change process and the framework for leading their agency and its people through the cycle of change.
