This site has an extensive section on Volunteer Management (Volunteer screening, recruitment, interviewing, evaluation, retention, etc.) which, although written for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is great material which can be adapted to nearly any organization. Check it out at: (the long web address above) Much of the material is was written by Steve McCurley and Rick Lynch.

Ellis--and responses from site visitors; an online Volunteer Management Library of hundreds of articles, book excerpts, and annotated Web links organized by topic; and so much more!
